Jan Allan Hardman aka “Good Time Charlie” (Date of Birth: 10/12/1946) is charged with trespass and public urination. On December 15, 2007, Officers responded to a call at the Dinkytown McDonald’s. Upon arrival, Officers found Hardman inside the men’s restroom. He was escorted to the squad car and was then tagged and released. Hardman has been sent from this establishment numerous times for similar incidents and was recently trespassed from the restaurant by its management.

I’ve had contact with this fellow on several occasions. He's one of the regular characters that make people-watching in Dinkytown fun.
At least when he's in a happy phase. I’ve seen him friendly and funny, and belligerent and disruptive. I guess “urban color” like this is something I prefer to go visit rather than have live on my block. Be as eccentric as you want, but when you treat the world as your toilet, you've gone too far.
