The Eastside Defender is a community-powered forum for news and discussion relating to crime and safety on the Eastside of Minneapolis. The Defender was seeded by the Northeast Citizen Patrol as part of the NECP's mission to encourage greater involvement of Eastside residents in the safety of our communities. The Defender is open for all to read. Registered users are granted additional privileges. It's easy and free, so register now! Benefits of Registering with the Eastside Defender:
Active NECP Members who register with the Eastside Defender are also able to access additional protected content, including a private forum for NECP-related discussions. Unfortunately, we cannot automatically detect if a registered Defender user is an NECP member. If you're in the NECP and do not have access to the Defender's NECP forum, send a note to our Site Administrator. The Eastside Defender is intended to provide information, provoke discussion, and offer a forum for NECP members and the public at large. Any news or opinion published here reflects only the perspective of the author, not the NECP. The Eastside Defender welcomes controversial views, but will moderate vulgar comments and uncivil conduct. Send news leads, story ideas, or prospective commentaries to the Editor. As our volunteers continue to grow and develop the Eastside Defender website, we thank everyone for their support and feedback. Advertising Policy The Eastside Defender accepts banner ads on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the advertising manager. |
