The medical examiner has identified the man who died after being shot at a car wash in northeast Minneapolis Monday. Gerald Dwayne Brookins, 42, from Golden Valley, was shot at the Lowry-Marshall car wash, located at Lowry Avenue and Marshall Street NE. He ran across the street to a bar, staggered into the entry way and collapsed. He died a short time later.
